Tamina Chowdhury

Director of Advocacy and Campaign Strategy

Tamina Chowdhury serves as the Director of Advocacy and Campaign Strategy at the National Alliance to End Homelessness, where she leads national efforts to advance policy change and strategic campaigns that drive systemic solutions to homelessness. With over a decade of experience in state legislatures, nonprofit organizations, think tanks, and electoral campaigns, Tamina brings deep expertise in policy strategy, coalition building, and legislative advocacy.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Tamina was the California State Policy Manager at the BlueGreen Alliance, where she led statewide labor-environmental initiatives to advance clean transportation, climate resilience, and pro-worker economic policies. She has also held senior roles at the Human Rights Campaign and the New York State Senate.

Tamina holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Cambridge and earned degrees from the University of Warwick and Sewanee: The University of the South, with a year at the London School of Economics as study abroad.
