Alliance Position: The Alliance supports any additional funding aimed at ending homelessness in America.

Summary

This bill amends the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act to make significant additional FY2018-FY2022 appropriations available for emergency relief grants, rental assistance individuals and households who are homeless, and homeless outreach and coordination services.

The bill also permanently authorizes some housing assistance programs and the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness.
