When will the virtual conference take place?

The virtual conference – Ending Unsheltered Homelessness: Strategies and Policies That Work – will take place February 16 to 18, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time daily. The agenda will be posted by January 21 but will essentially be the same as it would have been for the in-person conference.

What is the registration rate for the virtual conference?

The registration fee for the virtual conference will be $325 ($50 for consumers).

When will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be processed by February 25, 2022.

What should I do about my hotel reservation?

In accordance with its Cancellation Policy; The Oakland Marriott City Center will refund canceled bookings made within 72 hours in advance of the reservation date. Please follow the guidance in the confirmation email you received from the Hotel or call reservations directly using this Toll Free: 1-877-901-6632 or the Reservations Local Phone at 1-800-454-1719 with any additional questions.

What about other travel expenses?

We are unable to provide refunds for travel expenses. In terms of air travel, most major airlines have established flexible change and cancellation policies in wake of the pandemic. Please work directly with your airline or travel insurance provider.

What is included in my registration for the virtual conference?

Registration for the three-day conference includes access to all sessions and networking events. Access to the conference portal, which will include all workshop/plenary recordings and materials, will be available for 90 days after the conference concludes.

I was scheduled to be a speaker at the conference. Am I still presenting virtually?

Yes, we would like you to do so. Please contact your session planner for the revised schedule. If you are available, we would appreciate your continued support as a subject matter expert.

I am not currently registered for the live or the virtual conference. How can I pay for my registration for the virtual conference?

You can pay online with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted). If you need to pay by purchase order, please contact us directly via email at conference@naeh.org or by phone at (202) 942-8257.

After I register, what’s next?

First, you will receive a confirmation email after registering for the event. Please check your spam and junk email folders. Also, add conference@naeh.org to your address list so that you will receive emails about the conference. Closer to the event, you will receive instructions on how to access the online platform to participate in the event.

Can I view or watch sessions after the conference?

Yes, all conference sessions will be recorded. You will have the ability to access the event platform and view sessions for 90 days after the conference concludes.

Something came up, and I can’t attend. What is the cancellation policy?

Unfortunately, due to this conference’s virtual nature, we will not honor cancellation and refund requests for the virtual conference. Once registered, you will receive access to our online event platform to view plenary and workshop sessions on-demand.

Does the Alliance offer CEUs for attending the conference?

While we do not offer CEUs for our conference, we can provide you with a letter confirming your registration after the conference. If you would like to request a letter confirming your registration, please email us at conference@naeh.org.

I am a sponsor. How does this change affect my sponsorship?

I applied for a scholarship. Does my application apply to this event?

Yes, the Alliance staff will be notifying those selected as scholarship recipients. Please check your spam and junk email folders. Also, add conference@naeh.org to your address list so that you will receive emails about the conference. If selected, you will receive instructions on how to proceed.

I signed up to volunteer for the live event. Can I still volunteer at the virtual conference?

The Alliance will not need as many volunteers for the virtual conference. If you were selected and notified, you will be offered comp registration to the virtual event. Please check your spam and junk email folders. Also, add conference@naeh.org to your address list so that you will receive emails about the conference. If you were selected, you will receive instructions on how to proceed and access the platform.
