Transitional housing providers across the country are increasingly converting their transitional housing projects to create additional rapid re-housing subsidies and new units of permanent housing. Providers who own buildings in which they operate transitional housing face a unique set of conversion challenges due to their myriad of fund sources and long-term use restrictions.
