Conference registration does not include hotel or travel costs. Please make sure to register for the conference BEFORE booking a hotel room or airfare!

Before you book your travel, be sure to check the full conference agenda. You do not want to miss the pre-conference sessions beginning Monday, July 22 at 9:00 AM. This year’s Capitol Hill Day will take place Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM, and we encourage all attendees to participate in this important effort.

The National Conference on Ending Homelessness has secured a block of discounted rooms at the conference host hotel, the Washington Marriott Wardman Park. Discounted room rates are $223.00 plus taxes until the room block closes on Friday, June 28, 2019 or when the room block fills up. Discounted room rates are available for a July 19, 2019 check-in and a July 25, 2019 check-out.

You can now book at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Room rates begin at $222.00 plus taxes. Discounted rates are available through Friday, June 21, 2019 or until the hotel room block is sold out. Every reservation made online rather than calling in will apply to the Omni’s Say Goodnight To Hunger campaign. Traveling from Area Airports

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to the conference hotel. Additionally, the Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) airports service the Metro DC area. No matter the airport you are flying into, see below for directions to the conference hotel.

Please note that the conference hotel does not provide shuttle service from area airports. If you are flying consider SuperShuttle, shared ride services, MARC train, taxi or public transportation. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), commonly referred to as Metro operates transit service in the Washington metropolitan area. Please see below to plan your trip using the Metro.

Traveling by Train and Bus

Union Station Washington, DC is serviced by Amtrak, Buses, and Metro. For more information, please visit the Amtrak website or the Metrolink website.

Using the Metro

Using the Metro is convenient and highly recommended to get around Washington, DC. The conference hotel is located at the Woodley Park Metro Station. To plan your trip click here.

Parking

Self and Valet parking is available at the conference hotel. The fee is $45/day for self-parking and $50/day for valet. Comp’d parking is not available. 

Please note that Capitol Hill Day activities are located within convenient proximity to both Union Station and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), as well as easy access to public transit to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) airports.
