Lolah J is a communications and youth engagement professional, advocate, and public speaker with 10+ years of experience advancing youth equity and addressing homelessness. She is the Founder of Apex Consulting & Co. Through her consulting firm, she designs training, workshops, and leadership development sessions that teach for-profit entities how to partner with community-based organizations.

Lolah’s work is grounded in both lived and professional experience. While studying Mass Communications at Savannah State University, she experienced homelessness and housing instability, which continues to inform her approach to elevating youth voice and translating lived experience into meaningful, actionable outcomes.

Lolah has held several leadership roles across Baltimore City, including serving as a Continuum of Care Board and Executive Committee member, Co-Chair of the Youth Homelessness Action Committee, and Chair of the Youth Action Board. Her service exemplifies her belief that community impact occurs at the intersection of elevating youth voices, extending community.
