Malik Rivers is a Senior Project Associate with the Center for Capacity Building at the National Alliance to End Homelessness. In this role, he manages and coordinates complex projects that advance the Alliance’s strategic priorities, serving as the operational lead for assigned work and partnering closely with Senior Technical Assistance Specialists. He also supports policy projects that advance services and resources to address youth homelessness. Malik brings experience across youth development, education, housing, and direct service. He previously worked at Sasha Bruce REACH, a youth-serving organization in Washington, DC. Before joining the Alliance, he interned with Veterans on the Rise as a Transitional Housing Case Manager supporting Veterans and with DC Public Schools as a High School Social Work intern, where he supported students’ educational, social, and emotional growth. He also served as the Mentor Program Manager for a youth development nonprofit in DC, coordinating mentors and mentees and connecting them to resources that strengthened their relationships. Malik holds a BA in Sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Social Work from Howard University.
