Housing Focused Street Outreach in Practice: Lessons from Miami, FL


Street outreach workers play a vital role in helping people who are unsheltered find and move into stable housing—in addition to providing life-saving resources and critical service connections. This webinar will feature recent research by Florida International University on new investments in promising practices can improve the housing outcomes of street outreach programs. These approaches can be successful alternatives to criminalization. Staff from the Miami-Dade Continuum of Care and three local outreach providers will join for a panel discussion and Q&A about applying these lessons to their work.

This webinar is the fifth in a series focused on the Alliance’s Research into Action project, which funded 10 original research studies to address questions relevant to practitioners and policymakers.
