Homelessness requires an emergency response. Systems and providers rightly focus on initial assessments, initial connections to services, and getting people inside. But what do we know about the later in the process aspects of client connections to homeless services (and particularly Permanent Supportive Housing)? What are some common housing outcomes? How do those outcomes vary by factors such as age and race? And how do we know when people are ready to “move on” from PSH? This webinar will feature two research studies. The first focused on housing outcomes for older adults and how they vary by race. The second study examined readiness to move on and developed a tool to support such decisions.
