Get ready for an engaging experience where your knowledge and quick thinking will be put to the test with the Knowledge Check game, created by the Alliance’s Center for Learning. Whether you’re looking to hone your skills or refresh your knowledge on best practices, this game is your go-to resource. This game is intended for front-line homeless services staff.
Begin by selecting a category (e.g., Housing First) and a point value (e.g., 200).
3. Question Round:
The scorekeeper reads the question, regardless of who picked the question, all players/teams can attempt to answer.
The first player/team to raise their hand gets an attempt to answer the question. The first player/team to get the questions right gets to pick the next question.
4. Rules for Answering:
Players/Teams can choose any question on the board.
You have 10 seconds to answer the question. The scorekeeper will track the time. Quick thinking is key, so practice raising your hand before having an answer ready.
5. Clarification and Correct Answers:
If an answer is vague but technically correct, the scorekeeper may ask for clarification, providing additional time to answer the question.
If no one answers, the scorekeeper shares the correct answer, and the player/team who chose the question gets another pick.
6. Winning:
The player/team with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner!
