When homeless service providers understand how the criminal justice system works they can develop more effective partnerships and better serve people who are experiencing homelessness or those who are at risk. Watch our webinar on the topic

Four ways to help people with criminal records get a fair chance at housing

On Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. the Alliance is hosting a Reentry 101 webinar. Experts from the criminal justice system will cover: the basics of the criminal justice system, reentry and how they intersect with homeless service systems; typical pre-release services and discharge planning; how community supervision works, and how homeless service providers can work better with their local criminal justice and reentry providers.
