Webinar: Ending Unsheltered Family Homelessness in Washington State

September 25, 2017

How did Community Action Agencies drive down the number of unsheltered homeless families in their target jurisdiction within 100 days?

This webinar will provide an overview of the 100 Day Challenge conducted by the Washington State Department of Commerce and Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Economic Services Administration. Leaders from the Benton-Franklin Community Action Committee (which reduced unsheltered family homelessness by 100 percent) and the Lower Columbia Community Action Council (which reduced unsheltered homelessness by 70 percent) will describe the action steps that made such progress possible. Following the presentations, speakers will discuss how other Community Action Agencies can replicate their success.
