The letter, available for download below, led by Senators Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), is circulating in the Senate in support of $2.664 billion for HUD’s McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants, as well as $20.854 billion for HUD’s Section 8 Tenant-Based Rental Assistance program, in fiscal year (FY) 2017. The letter was sent to the leaders of the HUD Appropriations Subcommittee.
