The U.S Conference of Mayors’ Report on Homelessness and Hunger serves as a measure of the housing and food needs of the most vulnerable citizens in U.S. cities. It is intended to serve as a reference for policy makers and journalists on the extent of and solutions to hunger and homelessness in U.S. cities. This is the first year the Conference worked in conjunction with the National Alliance to End Homelessness to present a snapshot of homelessness in U.S. cities as well as compare trends in homelessness between cities and the nation as a whole.
