Online Course: Advancing the Role of Emergency Shelter in Ending Homelessness
September 14 - 18, 2020The five-part “Advancing the Role of Emergency Shelter in Ending Homelessness” series is designed for emergency shelter providers and Continuum of Care stakeholders. The series will include live webcasts every Thursday by Alliance staff and emergency shelter providers who have seen success after adopting a low-barrier, housing focused model. The five webcasts will provide an in-depth review of the five-key element of effective shelter, and how to begin implementing change.
Along with weekly live webcasts, this course includes weekly office hours with Alliance staff, assignments, quizzes, discussion, optional reading, and supplemental resources. Live webcasts will be recorded and made available for later viewing.
The course will run from September 14 – October 18, 2020.
