Volunteers are vital to the success of the conference. In exchange for working all assigned shifts, volunteers will receive complimentary conference registration. Travel and hotel accommodations are not included. Please note that individuals who have not had the opportunity to volunteer in the past will have top priority, and only one individual per organization will be allowed to volunteer. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

Volunteer applications for the 2023 National Conference on Ending Homelessness and Capitol Hill Day are now available. Applications will be accepted through 11:59 P.M. ET on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, or until all slots have been filled. You will be notified no later than Tuesday, June 13, 2023, if you have been selected to volunteer.

Scholarship Opportunities


The National Alliance to End Homelessness has established a scholarship program to allow individuals who are currently experiencing (or have formerly experienced homelessness within the last five years) to participate fully in the conference if they cannot afford to cover the full cost.

Scholarship applications for the 2023 National Conference on Ending Homelessness Conference and Capitol Hill Day will be accepted through 11:59 P.M. ET on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Selected individuals will be notified no later than Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

Successful applicants are those who:

  • Meet the criteria indicating current living status, and
  • Submit a complete application, answering all questions asked.
